Assembly

*I recommend blocking these two panels before weaving in ends and before sewing them together for best results*

Lay one panel on top of the other and pin at the top and bottom corners.

Shoulders: With yarn and darning needle, insert yarn in a stitch just past the corner and tie a knot. Use a simple stitch to then sew upwards and around the corner, once past the corner (should only take a couple stitches) sew for 2 inches, slip stitch, tie off. *Repeat on opposite side

Sides: For the arm holes, measure 7” (medium: 8″ large: 9″) from top corner, along the side of the panels, insert stitch marker.  Insert yarn where the stitch marker was placed, tie a knot, sew down along the side until there are about 2-3 inches left (this will create the slit on the sides) *Repeat on the other side

Finishing: With yarn and hook, slip stitch into one side of the back panel, SC around back panel, continuing onto front panel (this will make the piece look more uniform and finished) slip stitch, tie off. Weave in all your ends!

Belt (optional):

Row 1: Ch 151 (or however many you need to reach the length desired)

Row 2: SC across (150)

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, SC across (150), slip stitch, tie off, weave in ends
